Stage 2 — VOC Guard Max Filter

Every Santé Smart System refill pack begins with a catalytic carbon foundation, the core filtration standard used across all configurations.

The VOC Guard Max configuration is specifically engineered for high-efficiency chemical reduction, utilizing high-grade catalytic coconut shell carbon to target contaminants commonly found in treated municipal water.

This filtration stage specializes in neutralizing:

• chloramines
• volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• chlorine taste and odor
• chemical disinfectant byproducts

Because chloramines are more difficult to remove than chlorine alone, the VOC Guard Max filter uses catalytic carbon designed to break down these compounds more effectively than conventional carbon filtration.

This makes it an ideal configuration for homes supplied by city water systems treated with disinfectants.

Stage 3 — PFOS Ultra Filter

The PFOS Ultra filter provides final-stage protection against PFAS compounds, including PFOS, PFOA, and GenX.

Constructed with proprietary high-density, acid-washed coal-based carbon infused with specialized media, this filter is engineered to remove PFOS compounds down to extremely low concentrations.
