The Well Water configuration is generally recommended for homes supplied by a private well. Because well-water quality can vary significantly, we recommend testing your water to identify the contaminants and concentrations present before selecting a filtration system.
Does the Well Water filter reduce iron?
KDF 55 can help reduce certain forms of iron and other heavy metals. Results will vary depending on the type and concentration of iron in the water, as well as flow rate, temperature, and overall water chemistry.
Does it reduce sulfur or a rotten-egg odor?
