he Omnipure Calcite Inline Filter provides a simple way to remineralize purified water and help correct low pH.

Calcite is a naturally occurring calcium carbonate media that slowly dissolves as water passes through the filter. This process adds calcium back into the water while helping raise acidic or low-pH water toward a more neutral, less corrosive level.

Its compact inline design makes it ideal for use as a post-filter on reverse osmosis systems and other point-of-use drinking water filtration systems.

How Calcite Works

Calcite is a naturally occurring form of calcium carbonate. As acidic or low-mineral water flows through the cartridge, a small amount of the calcite media gradually dissolves into the water.

This process adds calcium back into the water while helping increase pH toward a more neutral level. Because calcite is consumed naturally during use, results and replacement frequency can vary depending on incoming water chemistry, pH, flow rate, and overall water usage.
