The AF-10-3610 is a specialty filter cartridge designed for the selective removal of nitrates (NO₃⁻) from drinking water. It contains SIR-100-HP, a strong base anion exchange resin known for its high nitrate selectivity and resistance to fouling, making it well-suited for water sources affected by agricultural activity or septic contamination. This cartridge is ideal for under-sink, countertop, or point-of-entry systems where nitrate contamination is a concern. It fits standard 10” x 2.5” housings and is typically used as a dedicated stage in multi-stage filtration setups. Nitrates are odorless, tasteless contaminants that can be harmful, especially to infants and vulnerable populations.
