Maria Triple PFAS Refill Set – City Water

The standard Maria Triple City Water refill set includes a sediment filter, AF-10-2070 combination cartridge, and AF-10-1052 GAC polishing cartridge. This PFAS version replaces the AF-10-1052 GAC cartridge with our PFAS cartridge for additional targeted PFAS reduction.

Because the AF-10-2070 combination cartridge already contains catalytic carbon, this configuration still includes carbon filtration while adding PFAS-focused filtration in the final cartridge position.

This refill set is eligible for subscription service at a 9-month replacement frequency.

This refill set includes three replacement cartridges:

1. Sediment Filter
   Helps capture larger particles such as dirt, sand, rust, and sediment before water reaches the specialty filtration media.
2. AF-10-2070 Combination Cartridge
   Contains a specialty media blend including KDF85, SIR-900, and catalytic carbon. This cartridge helps address a broader range of city water concerns, including chlorine, chloramines, select heavy metals, and other common contaminants found in municipal water.
3. PFAS Cartridge
   Included in place of the standard AF-10-1052 GAC polishing cartridge. This cartridge is designed for additional targeted PFAS reduction.

The standard AF-10-1052 GAC cartridge is commonly used as the final polishing cartridge for taste, odor, and additional carbon filtration. In this PFAS refill set, that final cartridge is replaced with the PFAS cartridge. Since the AF-10-2070 cartridge already contains catalytic carbon, the system still includes carbon filtration as part of the overall configuration.

Recommended replacement frequency: Approximately every 9 months, depending on household water usage and incoming water quality.

Compatibility: This refill set is for Maria Triple City Water systems using the 3-cartridge PFAS configuration only. It is not compatible with Ultimate Maria systems or any 4-cartridge Maria configuration.

Before replacing your cartridges, turn off the water supply to your Maria Triple system and relieve pressure from the line. Place a towel or small container beneath the housings to catch any residual water.

Unscrew each filter housing, remove the used cartridge, and rinse the inside of the housing if needed. Insert the new replacement cartridges in the correct order:

1. Sediment Filter
2. AF-10-2070 Combination Cartridge
3. PFAS Cartridge

Make sure each cartridge is seated properly inside the housing before tightening. Hand-tighten the housings securely, but do not overtighten.

Once all cartridges are installed, slowly turn the water supply back on and check for leaks. Allow the system to flush before use according to the recommended flushing instructions for your Maria Triple system.
