The AF-10-2070 is a versatile, multi-media filter cartridge designed to address a broad range of water contaminants commonly found in both city and well water supplies. It contains: 1.5 lbs of KDF-85, which reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and heavy metals like lead and mercury, while also helping to prevent bacterial growth within the media. Catalytic carbon (Centaur), which is highly effective for the reduction of chloramine and chlorine, as well as improving taste and odor. SIR-900, a specialty ion exchange resin designed for the reduction of fluoride and other anionic contaminants. This blend of media makes the AF-10-2070 ideal for applications requiring a wide-spectrum reduction filter, such as under-sink, whole house, or pre-RO filtration in areas with challenging water quality.
