This dual cartridge (double dome) drinking water filter installs in seconds on standard kitchen faucets and provides up to 40 gallons an hour of ultra-filtered, high-quality water for drinking, cooking and food preparation.

This 1.5LB KDF 85 unit filters more than 600 contaminants from water, using a combination of trace minerals (copper and zinc in the patented form of KDF®) and coconut shell carbon. Bacteria can't grow inside these bacteriostatic filters!

It's also excellent in situations where sulfur and iron are present and a whole house system is not feasible. Water from countertop filters comes out of a spout connected at the faucet by an aerator (double diverter). This allows you to have filtered water or unfiltered water as needed.

The doubledome comes with two top of the line filters that work to eliminate silt, metals, chlorine, chloramine, fluoride, sediment, lead, giardia, cryptosporidia and bacteria.
