The AQUAPURE PRO Shower Filter has a unique four-stage filter process for the healthiest shower possible.Stage 1 removes chlorine and enhances pH balance with a natural copper/zinc mineral media called KDF-55. Stage 2 filtration stage uses Hydro-Chlorox Ceramic Ball Media from Europe for the removal of VOCs, synthetic chemicals and THMs that vaporize from tap water and are inhaled or absorbed through the skin, potentially causing health problems, skin, hair and cosmetic effects.
Stage 3 contains PI calcium from Japan to Stops dry and itching skin, soften the hard shower water for better hair and skin
Stage 4 puts the shower water through a magnetic treatment of water which has been proven to reduce "hardness" and adjust the PH of the water.

We do NOT have well water. It is the City of Wildwood, NJ water. The pic I sent you was our second prefilter change. The first one was also in for 6 showers. My hair feels wonderful!
